Post subject: Question about limited purpose brokerage account
I was allocated 0 shares and was wondering if I need to call and close my account, or if it will close automatically. Even if there are no charge associated with it, I don't like to have unnecessary accounts open in my name. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Sounds like you answered your own question. Call and have it closed out.

If you're worried about it, why not just call them directly and ask the same question?
