Uniden TRU9465-2 phonebook

I have just purchased the Uniden TRU9465-2 set, and am in need of some help/knowledge about the phonebook feature and its use with Vonage.

I have setup Name and Numbers in the phone book using the full 1-###-###-#### format, and I am able to get the distinctive ring feature to work, however the phone doesnt look up the name in the phonebook, it will simply display (Cell Phone) instead of (Jane's Cell) as I have it set in the phonebook. The manual pretty much implies that it should display the name I have set in the phonebook if the number is stored, but it wont seem to work for me. I tried all diff formats such as ###-###-#### and ###-#### and with and without my area code set in the global setup.

Anyone have this or a similar phone and are able to get custom name to show up as they are set in the phonebook as opposed to the generic info that is displayed with some callerid data?

I briefly looked through the manual pages 28-32 and don't really see where you got that implication from. I don't know about that model, but I've never heard of a tru series phone supporting that feature.

Maybe Im wrong, but it would be great if it worked that way.
