I am not much of a trader, so please bear with me.
If there a possibility that the stock could increase if there was more publicity or time for the market in this IPO to stabilize?
Thanks for any input. My belief is that
VONAGE
has good ideas, but few people know, at this point.

I suppose anything is possible but the negative publicity of the failed IPO over the last two days puts that rosy forecast a little further out. My opinion only, of course.

I'm not much of an investor, but I did my research earlier this week when reminded of the IPO. Every article I read said to stay away from this IPO. Motley Fool in particular had an article that spelled out why this was a bad idea for an investor. Sure, I love
Vonage
and have no complaints about the service, but it doesn't mean I was going to blindly throw money at the company.
The warnings were all there - the experts were right, this was a bad deal from the start.

Vonage
has great ideas, but will never make money, even they admit that. I have been with
Vonage
for over 2 years now and think they are great, as a service. As a stock, well, I don't need to answer that one for you.
But I only got in this IPO for the pop. I am out as of this morning.
This will probably have a bounce at some point in the next few days, but were talking maybe $1/2. I agree with one poster that the highest this stock will ever be was ~$17. My predication, whatever this means to anyone, is that in the next few weeks this will trade to where it should be and should have be priced at $8. Remember, when they originally filed to go public, with 31MM shares, ~$8 would have been the price.
And for you long term shareholders, don't forget this is only 25% of the stock. After 180 days, the VC's (venture capitalists) who control most of the stock, will be free to trade (I mean dump) most of their shares.
