As a loyal Vonage customer I'm glad they raised some captial to expand services. Now that they have over 500 million, Vonage executives can buy a corporate jet (gulfstream) and really grow the business. I say good luck and lets get some customers! |

Must have missed the corporate jet in the prospectus. Or was that the line that said "Our management will have broad discretion in the allocation of the net proceeds of this offering" |

The IPO was good for Vonage IMHO.
It seems to me they got a very good price, and the money will help them to fight the increasing competition.
There is a risk that they will loose some customers due to the IPO - one one hand you have customers mad because they DID NOT get shares, on the other hand you have customers mad because they DID get shares, and ended up with this large drop the first day.
However, with the new money Vonage might be able to accellerate its growth rate, and possibly become a more attractive takover target. |

I'm glad they raised money too.
Sorry about the losses suffered; but heck, the stock was slowly climbing back up by the end of the day.
Now it is time to make the service more attractive -- so how could they do that? |
