Post subject: Misleading info?
I do not own a router but was given the D Link VTA on placing a telephone order. Being new to this stuff I only realised that the D Link needed a separate router on thoroughly checking product details on the
Vonage
website. Luckily customer service managed to lock down the order and substituted the Linksys RT31P2, but this off course cost me another 14.99 GBP.
I think
Vonage
should provide more info to buyers using the phone service and update the webpages to make it absolutely clear which equipment is needed. This page -

clearly implies that the phone adapter is all that is needed.

I quite agree. For 99% of users you want the combined phone adapter and router. Not many people implement their own QOS or even know what QOS is!
