I'm needing to get a two line phone with Vonage and was wondering if anyone has recommendations. With a wireless network in the office I ideally would like a cordless 5.8Ghz phone, just haven't been able to find them.
I really would like a cordless headset as well. Any help would be appreciated. |

I'm in the same boat and cannot find a decent two-line w/o a answering machine. Everybody keep recommending Uniden but Uniden does not make a 5.8GHZ 2-Line! |

Try www.101Phones.com, I haven't bought from them but they show you many itmes for you to investigate.
I believe Panasonic just came out with a few models on that range. I use a four line 4000 model and works great.
Hope this helps. |

I had an AT&T 2462 2-line phone, which screwed up the caller ID. I got rid of it for a Siemens 8825 from e-bay. This is a superior phone!! Corded and cordless 2.4ghz handsets and all. |

I got the Uniden TRU8866 today. 2 lines and all the featues you could want minus the the answering machine. Sounds great, message waiting and caller id both work fine.
2 jacks on the back. 1 RJ14 with both lines, 1 RJ11 for line 2. You can use 1 2-wire cord for each line or a 4 wire cord (included) to carry both lines. |

I am currently having a problem with Vonage on the Uniden TRU8866 phone. i have one line connected to a standard land phone line and the other connected to the Vonage linksys router. The Vonage line will have a dial tone for maybe up to 10 calls, then i will hear what sounds like a busy signal, then i don't get any dial tone at all.
when I use a standard phone connected to the router, I don't have this problem.
I like the Uniden phone and has all the features that i need, except for working well with Vonage.
anyone else have this problem? |
