That is why you are not in my shoes.
I do not see one single fundemental or technical indicator that suggest holding
Vonage
. Sell depth is huge, volume has been heavy, No support, no earnings, nothing. Not selling now and limiting losses now is just being reckless.

Totally agree with this statement. This stock is in big trouble! For this stock to not open higher is a very bad sign.

Yes, there are some schools which tell you to sell as soon as it reach 5% lower than value to cut your losses, but in my case, we all expected that we may loss all our money or part of it, so there is another school which tell you that sudden disposal of stock (from everyone) just plumb it's price more. so if you have that patience thing then it should eventually increase. what did you expect anyway (make a fortune overnight ?)
BTW, I didn't buy cuz I'm very cash strapped, relatively you can call me broke...

You have obviously never taken any sort of IPO pricing theory finance courses in college or have had any real life experience in this industry.
Historical IPO data indicate that many IPOs do well in the first couple of days, and then do horrible in the long run. Right now counts as the first couple of days for
Vonage
, and it is down almost $2. That is bad. So, if you apply the same pattern that has been proven with hundreds of past IPOs, this "strong" performance of a $2 loss on day one will be followed up with weeks and months of poor performance.
Vonage
has no possible reason to do well. They lack a crucial element, The POSSIBILITY of earnings. Earnings themselves are not as important as everyone thinks, but the possibility that one day in the future they will earn is a huge element that is missing from the
Vonage
picture.

Yes, indeed I never had any finance courses, or what ever other things you are saying, and I'm sorry I'm wrong, and you know better, you should sell right now. good luck
