Hi there... I have been trying to set up my online UBS account for the past 8 hours (it is now 12:26 AM May 24th). The "first time logon" process is not working and the technical support and customer service agents have proved to be mediocre at best (I was told to "try back within the next hour" three times, and of course, the thing never worked).
Am I the only person with this problem? I am worried that I cannot set up sell orders and potentially lose my investment. This is ridiculous, I am majorly upset with this situation.
This is the error message I have seen more than 50 times already: "Thank you for accessing Online service. We are currently experiencing a technical difficulty, please try to access your account again in a few minutes. You may also logout and return to the login page. If you need immediate assistance, dedicated representatives are available at the UBS Financial Services center, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, call 1-888-279-3343. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience." |

i set my acct up within the last hour and didnt have any problems. did u follow the instructions exactly as instructed?
Click on the �First time user login� link, and enter your User ID and temporary password, which is the last four digits of your Social Security number. For security purposes, you will be asked to create your own user name and password the first time you enter this site. To activate your account for online access, follow the onscreen instructions.
Online Trading Password To access Online Trading, you will be asked to enter a separate trading password. This initial password is the full nine-digit Social Security number or tax identification number of the primary account holder. This password is different from your Online Services password. |

No, no issues at all with my UBS account. |
