I requested 1600 shares and received 0. Can they do that? Didn't they say they will reduce everyone by the same percentage? Is there anything I can do about that?

Not sure why, as it doesn't seem fair. My broker friend had mentioned that to me when I initally told him I was going to ask for 1000. He said if you ask for 1000 you won't get it. So I guess it's just a numbers game. Keep and eye on it in the morning, it might open flat, and if it does jump in and hopefully join the fun...

Everything was done by the exact formula/process in the prospectus. Anyone that requested 300 or more got 25% of what they requested rounded up to even multiples of 100 shares. Requests for 200 got 100 by random chance. Requests for 100 got 0. This is what the prospectus said would happen if there was high demand.
You say you requested 1600 you should have been allocated 400. If you
log off and back on the
vonage
ipo.com web site
you should see the 400 allocation.

To wschalck
It did not help to go back and resign, I still got 0. But after rebooting I went back in and saw 400 shares. So thank you for the advise.
I am still disappointed but not depressed as I was before.

As per the prospectus " First, if there were more shares requested than available, requests would be reduced by up to 75% and rounded up to the next 100. Then, if there were still not enough shares they would be handed out to the largest orders first and work their way down untill all shares were handed out. If there were not enought shares at a specific request size then a random assignment would take place."
Requested 300, got 100.
So if you asked for x, then you got (x/4) rounded to the closest 100.
example: Requested 600, got (600/4) rounded to closest 100 = 200
Requested 300, got (300/4) rounded to closest 100 = 100
Requested 1000, got (1000/4) rounded to closest 100 = 300
Question: If we wire in the money to SB tomorrow morning, is it possible to then sell the stock tomorrow itself?

You can sell tomorrow even if they do not have your payment yet. But they will hold the proceeds from your sale until you pay for what you purchased.
It seems from what I've read that with SB you need to call the broker you were assigned to sell, you can not do it on-line.
