Time to move to another carrier!!!

You need to log off and back on the vonageipo.com site. All requests for 2000 were filled with 500.

They have no idea how pissed off people are going to be because of this. I'm switching to a different Voip. I'm mad. I'm going to be mad for a while. So don't tell me to get over it.

Okay. I already feel a little better.

wschalck,

Can you elaborate further? (just some examples or a summarization of what lead you to that conclusion)

The prospectus detailed the allocation procedure. First, if there were more shares requested than available, requests would be reduced by up to 75% and rounded up to the next 100. Then, if there were still not enough shares they would be handed out to the largest orders first and work their way down untill all shares were handed out. If there were not enought shares at a specific request size then a random assignment would take place.

There have been posts of individuals that requested 300 getting 100. So they got down to at least the 300 level. That means anyone that requested more than 300 would have gotten allocated 25% of what they requested. From what I've seen so far the 300 level is where the random selection kicked in because I have seen no reports of a requst for 200 getting any allocation.

So how does that mean people who requested 100 shares don't know anything about investing? I would be willing to bet I know more about it than you. I requested 100 shares because VG is a pretty big risk. There are plenty of other companies out there I could throw $1700 into an see a guaranteed ROI. VG was a "gamble" so I treated it as such. The only reason I went forward with the offer was because I liked their service. That is NOT a good reason to invest in something.

Unfortunately I am out but I wish everyone else the best of luck!

GO VONAGE!

Fair question. I probably should have said most or many, I did not mean to imply that everyone that requested 100 did not understand investing. I'm sure there are people at every request level that do not understand the risks involved in investing, especially something more speculative like VG. I wonder how many people that put in requests read and understood the prospectus. I read 90% of it and probably understood 80% of what I read. I'm sure there are some that didn't read a word.
