Looks like I got the 1300 too. As I told my wife - if we get all 5000 then it's probably a bad sign. Having only got 1300 reaffirms that this stock should fly out of the gate tomorrow. I know many people that were wealthy millionaires in the "hot IPO" days of the late 90s and 2000. Even they would get cut quite often. sometime they'd be lucky if they got 50 or 100 shares and that was on big offerings. The smaller one...forget about it. I know a branch office of a major firm in a big city that would only get maybe 15,000 shares of a hot issue for an office with 50 brokers. That's not a lot. My point is - it's pretty cool to receive as many as I did and the fact that it was cut down to 1300 tells me all those skeptics criticizing this deal are about to to get their stupidity burned in the record books. i.e. Vonage will reward the ones that ignored their idiotic rants - that is you and I. MAybe they can buy 1000 shares of mine when it hits 30 tomorrow!. I'm actually surprised that more people didn't put in for 5000. |

Sorry to hear about your allocation but the prospectus stated that if demand was high, allocation rules would kick in.
The allocation rules stated that Vonage would start with everyone who submitted a 5000 share offer, multiply by 25% and work back until all the shares were allocated.
I didn't have the money for 5000 shares but figured that the demand would be high and the allocation rules would kick in so I offered 5000.
