ALL the phone companies have ALWAYS "snagged up dropped numbers". There are not enough numbers to drop them permanently, so chances are every number you've been issued in the last 10+ years has been used before, at least once, but usually many times.
Vonage is actually buying blocks of relatively "new" phone numbers, for the most part, but like every other phone company, they have to reuse numbers or run out in a hurry. |
