Hello -- I am brand-new to Vonage and have not received modem yet. I need to purchase a phone ASAP for my new business. The Uniden phone looks perfect with the base and one wireless. Unfortunately I cannot get anyone in customer service or billing to respond and allow me to buy it with the rebate since I already enrolled. Anybody with experience with the Uniden or any other compatible phone to be used for a one-man business will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. ---- AshesRising |

You're better off with a regular Vonage adapter rather than the all-in-one phone/adapter combos that are out there. This way you can connect up different phones, fax machines, teleconferencers, etc. Also, if your adapter goes belly-up, the regular adapters are easy to come across in a hurry. When you're running a business, you don't have the luxury of waiting for a few days for a replacement adapter to arrive.
As far as phones go, Uniden TRU8xxx series for cordless phones, Aastra 9417CW/9120/470/480e for hardwired phones would be my recommendations. |
