Hello,
Just wanted to say in the week I've had Vonage I have been extremely pleased! The sound quality has been great and the savings even better. I can honestly say I am one happy customer.

Please post detailed testyourvoip scores and your network configuration...oops, nevermind!

Welcome, it is good to hear from people who aren't having problems. I would like to know, since you bothered to post, how much of your decision to switch to Vonage was price and how much was features? Are you using or planning to use any Vonage features you couldn't get from your phone company?

Interesting question about features vs price. I've been with Vonage since Sept 2004. Initially, I switched soley based on price. I was paying ~$60/month with Comcast (not their Voip service). Switching to Vonage at $25/month was a no brainer.

Since joining, there are features that I find would be hard to live without: SimulRing, sending email when voicemail is left (sends SMS message to my phone), and free long distance.

I also feel that I'm now getting my money's worth from our broadband service (Comcast). I've always had something in the back of my head, wondering what good the broadband service could do during the 95% of the time we aren't using it for browsing.

Price mostly, was getting tired of paying $35 a month not counting long distance. Features didn't even play into the decision, however I love the simuring feature.
