I need to buy a multifunction machine with a fax system that is compatible with Voip faxing. Any recommendations? Please reply. I do not trust Vonage tech service. They say Brother works when the Brother web site says it doesn't. I am thinking of Canon. Any model recommendations? Currently I have a 4 year old HP. HP machines are no longer considered reliable. Vonage sent me a refurbished Motorola VT-1005. It seems to be slowing down my internet connection and causing a lot of problems. Would a different model be better, or should I demand a new box? |

I have a Canon MP780 (~18 months & still going strong) and love it. GREAT fax machine, even better printer. I did have a problem with a 100 page fax, but people fortunately don't seem to do these all that much anymore (PDF files rule). Otherwise, the fax performance has been flawless. I'm using a Vonage RTP300, not sure if it makes a difference or not. I've even seen a few 33.6K fax connects with it. |

I have an old HP OfficeJet G85 (printer/fax/scanner/copier) connected to my RTP300 (dedicated fax only line) and it works great. This is my only analog line. My two home phone numbers are off of two VT-IP8100-2. |

Vonage could never get my HP4100 to work, so last month I bought a Canon MP780, and it seems like a great machine, but they can't get it to send or receive Faxes either - - - I'm dying. What settings are you using that work so well? Really appreciate it! |

My HP 7210xi faxes flawlessly with Vonage. My phone adapter is the Linksys RT31P2. Hope this helps! |

I have a Lexmark X215 that works with my Vonage VT1005. I have some non-Vonage issues with how it works that keep me from giving it a glowing recommendation. It seems to me to be designed for use in a home setting rather than a home office setting.
I have my VT1005 behind my router so it does not impact my Internet performance and/or reliability. |

I have a Brother MFC-8500 which is a multifunction fax/printer/copier and I haven't had any problems faxing if I set the fax mode to "overseas." |
