Post subject: WRTP54G V1.00.62 and Microsoft VPN
I have been having issues with Microsoft VPN through my WRTP54G. I was aware of the problem of being able to connect to my VPN server from teh outside since I installed the WRTP54G with 1.00.60. But now that it has been upgraded to 1.00.62, I am not able to conenct to other Microsoft VPNs from my network at home. This is a real problem since I support servers for several customers. Without the VPN I have to go to each customer site to do anything.
Has anyone experienced this problem since the upgrade? Also does anyone know when the next firmware version is coming. If this is not resolved soon, I am going to have to setup a firewall sandwich to get this working. I hate to do this since my other router is only 11b and it does not handle dynamic DNS very well. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi,
I use the WRTP54G with firmware version 1.00.62 and I'm trying to configure a new VPN connection using Microsoft Windows XP. I've gone through the connection wizards setting up the desktop PC as the server and the notebook as the client. When I try to "tunnel in" to my network with my notebook on a public Wi-Fi hot spot it never connects. Did your VPN connection work before firmware 1.00.60?
