Marley, the goal was to NOT help the asshat... If he had his own network, he probably would have worded his question differently, AND, he might have bothered to search the forum, as there are plenty of answers on this forum in regards to his situation.

what the other posters who answered your question said is correct, and I'm probably not helping you here, but I just wanted to post some helpful info to make these ethical people even more upset. so here are some threads about wireless bridges with Vonage for your viewing pleasure.

Yeah, we need some Xanax and beers. Sure.

At least we PAY for our own connections. I hope your a s s gets caught. Seems law enforcement has been taking theft of service very seriously lately, one dude getting a year in the clink. I just hope you turn into one of those precedent-setting cases.

This is no hacker forum, go find answers elsewhere. Stupid

lol at this guy, 1st of all i would probably not do this, 2nd...even if i did do it, the chances of me getting stuck by lighting would be much higher

if the neighbor left his network unsecured, he'd be too much of a noob to know what was going on anyways.....and its not like i'd be hogging his band width all the time, just a little bit everynow and than, and he probably wouldn't be home or using his computer when i'd be sucking his bandwidth, and than if i do happen to be hogging it he'd not even notice something was going on, and if he did know seomthing was wrong he would have no clue what.....lol

Go for it. If your morality allows you to do those things, then knock yourself out. Who am I to say you can't steal?

Hey, while you guys are at it, I could use some help. My neighbor has this car that sits in his garage all night. He's not using it and I thought I'd just borrow it. I mean it's not like I'm stealing it, I'm just using the portion of it that he's just letting go to waste.

So I need help. I don't have a key to his house, garage, or car. Can someone tell me how to jimmy a door, hotwire a car, and then roll back his odometer? I'd but my own car, but those bastard car makers charge so much, then there's insurance, and gas...oh don't get me started on the gas. The government is the reason gas prices -- heck all energy costs -- are so high in the first place. This is probably why car prices are so high too, so you see, don't blame me for stealing...ahem, I mean borrowing...my neighbors car, it's really the government's fault...specifically George W. Bush.

Thanks..

-Bill

P.S. His wife is kind of cute too, He doesn't seem to be with her all the time either. I wonder...
