P.S. His wife is kind of cute too, He doesn't seem to be with her all the time either. I wonder...
Now that's funny
Otherwise, I have nothing to add.

I do run a few open access points as a community service, but you better believe I have throttles, limits, and filters on them. I don't mind people "stopping by" to check their e-mail, do some web surfing, etc. BUT, I DO mind them using my connection as their permanent home. Kind of like the neighbor who constantly borrows your lawn mower ever other week for a year. I'm generous, but I hate moochers.

is it possible?
i know that my computers can get on his network fine, but how am i supppossed to run my
Vonage
off it since I have to have an ethernet port to plug the phone adapter into.
i've heard of using a router to bridge it....is that just a rumor, and if not, is it hard to do? if this is possible i may not even need to get DSL, i hate dsl, just to get dsl i have to get a land line through the phone co too. And than they add all that bull$ hit extra fees and huge $50+ installation/activation fee. just ridiculous.
Flamebait...right?

i've never stolen anything before except what i can get from behind a computer....lolz
So, that makes it NOT stealing, because you can get it "from behind a computer." I'm sure the MPAA, RIAA, or BSA will be suing you any day now. That's if you don't go to jail first.

yeah its not really stealing imo, but of course u could argue otherwise.
its doubtful mpaa, riaa, or bsa will come 4 me though. I don't share my music, software, videos, dvds, movies, ps2 games, xbox games, etc......., i never let my p2p, bitorrent, etc...upload, download only, than get off the network once i'm done
usually the only people they catch are the ones sharing, and they like to catch the ones that share a lot of stuff, since i don't share anything at all it is very unlikely they will get me

You sound like a better person with every post. I'm going back to my original thinking: flamebait.

Hey everybody; and not meant to be directed at any one person...
This is an interesting thread, a lot of opinions being shared here and obviously drastically different views...
but how about toning it down a bit on the name calling, finger pointing...
Thank you

I think DirecTV would disagree with you on that one.

I know it will cost you more money but why don't you buy one of the new
Vonage
hand held mobile phones! It will connect to any unsecured wireless network it finds. (as far as I know!)
