My caller ID service stops working every 1-2 days. Power cycling the Motorola VT1005v ATA resolves the problem, but only for a day or so.
I have worked extensively with supprt techs on this issue. Vonage support tells me that this is a known problem, other users are having this problem, and that it has been traced to the power supply not providing enough power. They promised to send me a new power cord.
Ok, fine, but they have not yet received the power cords from Motorola. I sense that it will be some time before I get my new power supply. So, I figure I ought to be able to acquire a power supply locally that meets the electrical specifications of the new, improved power supply.
So, does anyone know the specs of the new power supply, or a source for aftermarket power supplies?
The specs on my current (faulty) power supply are: 12V, 1.25A. |

Upon closer inspection, I see that my current power supply is manufactured by Delta Electronics, Inc and the model number is ADP-15ZB and it says REV: 02.
Perhaps this unit has been replaced by a newer revision (?). |
