oh! I thought it was less complicated given the fact that Comcast Digital Voice does offer free calls to the Virgin Islands but unfortunately for me comcast voice is not available in my area yet.

I am glad to see VG is getting a little more competitive. In my opinion, VG is still expensive in making international calls. I make calls via my PC to international destinations. I use a VOIP service that offers calling to 40 countries for Free - all for $12.00 for a 120 day period (that's 4 months at $3.00 a month). No taxes, nothing. Straight up. After 120 days, you pay another $12.00. It works like a charm. I bring my laptop when I travel internationally and I never pay phone bills at any hotel as long as I got a broadband connection.

I keep my VG line for my home use only. There is absolutely no need to haul your adaptor around. Heck, if you only travel domestically, Skype is free for all US calls. Why bring your adaptor AND laptop? Talk is sure "cheap" these days.

Why not free Germany? I also mean why don't put the Berlin Walls back on?

I don't like Germany. Too many Germans... We should put a wall up around the whole country...and a mote too.

Just kidding! I love the Germans! Great beer, good food and man can they party. And what about the Volks Wagon! I say we should all call someone in Germany and tell them we love them!

My wife is German and we met in Germany, so practically the only int'l calls we make are to our family and friends there. Free calling there would be a welcome addition, but I suspect int'l traffic to Germany is so high that it might not make economic sense from Vonage's perspective. (BTW, that's "Volkswagen" Wink )
