and the aluminum foil can be used to get that nice crikly static-y sound just before pressing said END button, for maximum believability. (grin)

I'm pretty sure that with aluminum foil and duct tape you can pretty much rule the world...

Post subject: TAX Calculator up!
After emailing customer service at
Vonage
to find out new taxes for my state, I received a reply with a
TAX CALULATOR
here it is, enjoy!
http://www.vonage.com/help_knowledgeBase_article.php?article=586&category=0
*sidebar rant*
the "dual topic" on this thread is lame
seriously who cares about a dumb new logo
is a new logo going to cost
Vonage
consumers more money?
NO!
is a new logo going to make call quality worse?
NO!
Is there any real point in complaining about it?
uhhh,....NO.
forget the logo, this tax issue could change the
way we communicate
!!

Well I for one am miffed! This thread started as a discussion related to the new logo. While it is true that the new logo won't lower your cholesterol, it does make people happy -- or sad -- or neither. I think it's a shame that we ignore the little things in life and worry only about the bottom line...
Oh wait...I really don't care about the logo either...never mind

Post subject: New sales tax states
Vonage
then lists the states where sales taxes may apply:
Arkansas, Colorado, Connecticut, Iowa, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota,North Carolina, North Dakota, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah and West Virginia.
You really didn't think that states would not get their piece of the action, did you? 21 down, 29 to go..........
Stay Tuned.

28 to go? Oregon does not have any sales tax. They do have their own 911 tax to sort of make up for that.
