Hello,
Just recently upgraded my internet router to the WRT54G. My RT31P2 sits behind this router. I see the WRT54G has a tab for QOS with quite a few configurable options.
Is there anything in here worth tweaking with my setup? |

I would venture to guess the majority or a large minority of people here set it up with the wrt54g first since it's a better router. you can change it if you want, but if you aren't having problems anyway... |

There appear to be reasons to tweak your setup.

Of course, using optimized QoS settings on your router doesn't mean that your Voip packets will receive such TLC all along the way. That fact may obviate the need to optimize your own settings, but probably not entirely. It is reasonable to tweak those aspects of your service that are actually under your control. QoS at your LAN is now one of those. It is only likely to make a big difference, IMO, if your Voip packets are competing for bandwidth against, say, streaming video/audio into or out of your own network. But, that's all conjecture on my part. I don't presently HAVE a sophisticated router, so others with real world experience may jump in and tell you otherwise.
CURIOUS: Did you get one of the Linux versions of the WRT54G? I've got the WRT54GL on order.
