Hello,
I am trying to install my new Vonage ip phone in the following environment:
corporate network, single domain, using dhcp, behind a firewall implementing NAT
Is this possible? I can't seem to get it to work.
Thanks!

Yes, I did this at my office. No problems at all. I hooked up a Hub at my desk connected to the Office Network and just plugged in my ATA and voila I was able to make calls. I just wanted to try it out and it worked fine. You may want to check whether your administrator has blocked some of the ports that may be required for Vonage. |

Okay thanks for the help. And which ports would I need to have my administrator check?

TFTP = 69 SIP = 5061 to 5063 (5062,5063 just in case.) RTP = 10,000 to 20,000
forward these through the router.
Hope this helps. |
