Combine "refer-a-friend" and "add-a-line"

I need to add another vonage line for my friends to use in a different home, but I would like to set it up as a "add-a-line" service.
This will therefore necessitate an additional phone adaptor and a new phone number of my choosing, with the same plan I have (14.99).
This being a new activation would however entail me around $56.00 (charges for new activation, plus 14.99, plus S&H for the new equipment).
My question is why should I not avail of the 'refer-a-friend" service and refer myself and activate one with a new phone adaptor and number with the 14.99 plan, and in return get 2 months off for my current service and a 1 month off for my new service I'm going to add for my friends?
Can I still do this as add-a-line option? I could use the same email and user-id, right? Any suggestions?

Nice, try, heheheheheh......you can't refer yoursel, which is what you're doingf. If you look at the Info, it's for new acct activation only - non-retail (Vonage rtr) as well.

Simply refer yourself using a different email address. Then you are a new account. So, the only difference is that you don't have both thtese lines under the same Vonage account.
