I just got a Netgear RP114 from Vonage and I am having a problem with it. I haven't called Vonage about it yet, I was hoping someone here might have a suggestion.
When I installed the router it worked perfectly with no extra configuration. It worked for about 10-15 minutes, then the computers on my lan side lost connection with the Internet (Wan). I went through the configuration looking for something I could tweak, and made some changes, Rebooted the router and tried again. It did the same thing, 10-15 minutes, then lost Wan connection.
I have tried as many things as I can think of, and think I may just have a bad router. It does have the most up to date firmware. I have never had this problem with my linksys router.
Anyone have any suggestions?

Cam,
Try backreving the firmware to a previous version just to rule out the firmware being the issue.

Just wanted to post an update. I e-mailed back and forth a couple of times with Customer Support. The person I spoke with said that he had seen this problem a couple of times before, and told me that they would send me a replacement for the router. |
