Doing some speed testing revealed my RT31P2 is eating about 33% of my cable download speed. Anyone have any suggestions or should I dump the RT31P2 and if so for what?
Typical results using Optimum FTP server, this was run many times.

I put my RT31P2 behind a Trendnet TEW 611 BRP, which I saw mentioned here. Although it has received mixed reviews, overall I have been very happy with it. The main reason I got it was for QOS. My outgoing voice quality had gotten to the point where almost everyone we called was complaining. Although I suspect it is a bandwidth problem with Charter, this has greatly improved things. Speed seems better, although with Charter it comes and goes with traffic, I suspect.
What firmware is your router currently running? Also, what is your QOS setting at? Have you also tried the 30 second reboot procedure and see if that clears up your router?

QOS has been everywhere from 128 to 756 and off. No change.
