I live in Indiana, in the past we have never changed our clocks and were on EST all year round. Beginning this year we switched to daylight savings time in April, so we are now on EDT.

Incoming calls are being shown on my caller ID one hour earlier than when they really come in. For example, a call at 2:10 PM is shown on the caller ID as 1:10 PM. The time is correct (2:10 PM) when I log into my Vonage account and go to the dashboard.

When we went to daylight savings time I changed the time zone on my PC and my Linksys WRT54GS router to Eastern time and made sure the box was checked that said "adjust for daylight savings time".

When I log into the phone adapter (Linksys RT31P2) I changed the time zone to Eastern but there is no check box that says "adjust for daylight savings time". I thought I could fix the problem by setting this to Central time but that didn't make any difference.

I've rebooted all devices after making changes.

I've also changed the time on my Uniden phone system.

I am checking this by calling in from a cell phone but times on all incoming calls are wrong regardless of where the call originated.

Any ideas on this one?

this is kinda jerry rigging it, but set the time zone to atlantic time zone to get that extra hour. Smile

When i first got Vonage, it was off my like 8 hours, but sometime in the last few months it self corrected itself.

I did try changing the time on the phone adapter to Central time which I thought would give me the right time. However it didn't have any effect.

Changing the time zone on the dashboard doesn't seem to have any effect on the time that's showing up on the phone.

Contacted Vonage via email technical support and was told this:

Thank you for contacting Customer Care.

"We understand that you have an issue regarding daylight savings time. We have made the necessary changes in our database. Please check in your caller id now and if you still have the issue, please reboot the setup and try again. The time adjustment will take place.

If you need any further assistance, please reply to this mail and we
will be glad to assist you."

This did fix the issue.
