Hi, I have 2 accounts, one in USA for several years and a new UK one. In both of the accounts, when callers from abroad call, the calls are wrongly displayed as "in-country" calls with odd prefixes. i.e. a call from Italy displays as 139 or 0139 instead of +39
If I can make what I think it's a sensible suggestion, PLEASE use GSM and Skype standard of using a plus sign to indicate the country, or you can use 011 or 00 before the country code.
As a result of this, 1471 DOES NOT WORK as advertised, you can NOT return international calls period. Your calls GET placed to the wrong number in your local country, UK or USA.
I complained to Tech support, they say they are somehow aware, but do not have an ETA.
Am I the only one using Vonage to receive and return international calls ? Common, guys and gals from Vonage forums, this is a PITA. |
