Vonage promised over a year ago that they would have anonymous caller block available in 6 months...well it's over a year and they still don't have it. Other VOIP's have it at no charge and even have cheaper monthly rates...I like Vonage but will switch if they don't add add anonoymous callr block within a month....your choice Vonage!!! Everyone that wants this feature should contact them and request it!!! |

Vonage is the only Voip provider that doesn't have ACR. |

That is what I am seeing in my research. I may switch to eclipse Voip. They offer all the bells and whistles and give you 2 lines for 19.99/mth. I hate to leave Vonage but they lied to me and I hate liars. Hear that vonage.....you lied...where's the acr in 6 months and where is your integrity....you may see a mass drop in your customer base with the rise of more voip's with better features. You are good but not for me because of 1 missing feature and that seems to be an issue with many of your customers. I hate getting blocked calls at 2am and a hang up!!!!!!!!! |

We actually got our number changed for just this reason. Huge pain in the neck trying to notify everyone. |

Be careful about mentioning other company names of the VonagePolice will get you. Anyways, don't you guys know that people in this particular forum are just whiners and complainers. Our opinions mean nothing. They will just get some company flunky to get on here and say that if you blow the right cs guy then he will send you some lame a$$ed beta that supposedly has been out there for 2 years now but none of the brain trusts can seam to get it to work. Oh well, happy voiping just make sure not to mention any other company names. |

Last time I check with them. I was told that ACR and do not disturb are in beta and these two feature will be out shortly. |

If the ACR final is the same as beta, then it's not worth much. I've had ACR for 2 months now (in beta), and it ONLY blocks truly "private" calls. Calls that are "unknown" or "out of area" still get through. Only calls that normally would show "private" or "private caller" get blocked.
To me, this is useless. Very few people dial *67 then your number to privatize their information. Instead, companies, creditors, telemarketers, etc. all dial from PBX or other such sources where the information isn't "private," per se; instead, it's just not available. It is THESE types of calls that my old SBC "Privacy Manager" blocked completely and absolutely. Currently, Vonage's beta ACR does not. |

Why complain about it? As others have stated, there are tons of other choices out there that do offer these features - from other Voip providers to plain old POTS. If it's important to you, switch. It's not that hard. |

sure I'll just spend thousands of dollars for new Business Cards as will have to print new ones cause most other Voip dont offer toll free numbers. I'll have to go buy another Router. |
