I am planning to install internet in ABIDS, HYD... via AIRTEL 128Kps plan... Do I need PC for Vonage to work? Or just plug the adapter to cable modem and it should work automatically? pls help.

Assuming your Internet connection is done via an Ethernet port, and uses either standard DHCP, PPPoE, or a fixed IP address to make the connection, you should be able to just plug your Vonage device into your modem and it should work.
With a 128k plan, you will be using most of your bandwidth for Vonage. That's going to give you occasional audio problems if you try to use your computer on the same connection. If you are getting this 128k connection dedicated for Vonage, then it should work fine, and if your cable modem supports Ethernet and DHCP, it should be a simple "plug it in, wait for it to start up, and go" experience.

i am using the VonageVoip phone in hyderbad india from past 3 months its working fine all you need is a connection in USA and thats all go to india and look for a 256 band width speed (siffy the best provider) once the connection is enabled your Voip phone will work,
Just to clarify your query i was using the 128 band width speed i had a audio problem and so i switched to 256 bandwidth speed its working fine now in india -hyderabad,
