Intermittent outage in St. Louis. I received an automatically forwarded call 40 minutes ago (3 PM Central time) and quality has been spotty for outgoing calls.

4:41pm Eastern - The service message just disappeared from the
Vonage
website. Never had a problem here in 845 (NY).

Yeah, I still don't have dial tone but my number is forwarding to my network unavailable number.
I called
Vonage
and they said my adapter was communicating with their servers and that I should have a dial tone. Unfortunately I am not there to figure out what is going on.
They did say that there was still an outage affecting incoming calls, this despite the status message being removed from the web site.
[EDIT: Fixed last sentence.]

Post subject: No service/spotty service in Chicago...
Yep, having issues here in Chicago since 2:30 pm.
Spotty service. No service at all from 2:30 pm to around 4 pm. Now service is back, but spotty, as my adapter keeps rebooting sporadically.
My dashboard has not listed any issues all afternoon. I give up on trying to call
Vonage
, as I just end up too frustrated.
Great service plan, features, etc... Too bad the service wasn't more reliable. I can't complain most of the time, but when they have issues, it's major.
Incoming caller received "call cannot be completed" message, knew I was having issues for min. 1-1/2 hours.
Oh well. Hopefully back up for good soon, so I can finish work. Figures I wanted to be done by 3pm today, now here I am, 4:30, with 2 hours work still!

Not sure if I've been down outside Chicago today but my activity report shows that calls have been coming through for the whole day, so if I've been down, it has only been spotty...calls have at least been forwarded to the number i had set up.

I know I am late with this post. But, yes, last Thursday (April 20) I experienced the same
Vonage
outage. I am in area code 678 in Atlanta. I did not think to check this site, but I am glad that I was not the only one.
People tried to call me during the outage, but they would not get a dial tone. I could call out, however. None of those incoming calls were logged in my call history either. I checked the official
Vonage
Web site and they showed no outages. Hmmm .. I know we were not making this up.
