Post subject: Qwest DSL OK?
I am thinking about switching to Qwest DSL (it's a long story but unfortunately where I live they are about the only other option). But, I heard a "rumor" that it doesn't work that well with
vonage
. Is this true? Do any of you use Qwest DSL?

I don't have a direct answer for whether Qwest DSL would work well with
Vonage
(but I have to wonder why it wouldn't), but one other consideration when getting DSL is that many DSL providers require you to have a landline with them. If cost is no consideration then that's not a big deal, but most people are using
Vonage
because of the cost savings over a Ma Bell POTS line.

I have Qwest DSL using a local ISP here in Minneapolis.
Vonage
works great for me. I have the 1.5/896 package.
Vonage
performance does suffer if I am pushing my bandwidth hard though. I imagine this would be no different than anyone else.
