2.4 GHz wireless transmission is probably the culprit, not Vonage. There's a lot of traffic of all types in that band. |
um as far as I know... no radio frequencies AM or FM are up in that range. And also local tv stations.
only thing that could possibly interfear with a 2.4 ghz phone is the microwave or a wireless router, both of which have no audio transmissions.
If a neighbor near by has a 2.4ghz phone... it is possible to overhear a conversation
if you goto google and search frequencies in your area, it can give you a whole list of frequencies that companies and the goverment use. ie fire department, cell towers, ham radios, ect heres a <a href="/outgoing/out.php?url=aHR0cDovL3d3dy50b3RzZS5jb20vZW4vbWVkaWEvcmFkaW9fc2Nhbm5lcl9mcmVxdWVuY3lfbGlzdHMvY2FsLmh0bWw%3D"> list</a> of some frequencies in use |

Wireless headphones, bluetooth, baby monitors with video and more. Prior to getting Vonage, I had to switch to 5.8 phones because of bluetooth sound interference. |

It's one messed up world we're living in LOL
Bluetooth did me in at home so I got overly aware of 2.4 stuff, but it's the coolest thing - now #3 on my better than sliced bread list (TiVo and Vonage first). |
