Hello,
I have 2 ATAs and 1 virtual number on the account. I just got this virtual number a few days ago and now we are starting to use it, I am having problems.
After some debugging, it seems:
- If I have BlastMe turned on for the virtual number, the virtual number does not work - the caller does not hear ringing at all. - If I have Sequential Dialing or route to 1 number, then it works.
I turned BlastMe on and off a few times and the problem was easily re-creatable.
Is this a known problem?
Thanks,
Steven |

I did more debugging - I think my original diagnose is wrong. Earlier, I was testing with a number that is not constantly connected to the network. Then I was testing with a number that is more connected.
It seems to behave strangely if the number that ends up getting the call is unavailable (for example network outage) AND voice mail is not turned on under virtual number. So:
1 - if I have one number configured, no voicemail for the virtual number and the number is unavailable (i.e. network outage), then I get this long pause after dial followed by strange long-busy tone that sounds like ring. It seems the voice mail setting of the number is not used. 2 - if I have Sequential Dialing, no voicemail for the virtual number and the first number is unavailable, then I get the same thing. 3 - it I have BlastMe turned on, no voicemail for the virtual number and the first number is unavailable, then I get the 2nd number.
It is late and still not everything makes sense. Let me know what you guys know about this.
Thanks,
Steven |
