I just recently recieved my Vonage Box. I am stationed overseas in Portugal and am using a D-Link Modem/Router G604T. I am connected thru the Modem to the Linksys RTP300 Vonage Router with the internet plugged into the computer by the D-Link Router. I did the VoiP test and recieved a 3.3. The problem I am getting is that when I pick up the phone I do not get the dial tone at all. The phone light does not come on or anything. I called Vonage customer support and they could not help me. Can anyone help? Suggestions would be appreciated. I am running Windows 200. ADSL Internet. I dont know much about computers so please tell me if you need more info. |

Hello Bran, welcome aboard. You've posted this in the hard wiring forum, and a lot of the people best qualified to help you may not see it here. I suggest that you re-post in the VoIP forum. Also, at the top of that forum you'll find a "sticky post" (one that the moderator keeps there all the time) that lists the technical details that you should list to get the best help. |

Bran,
I saw your post about Vonage note working in Portugal. We haven't been able to get it to work either. It looks like I have the same exact problems as you (no phone light, same router). Vonage customer service couldn't help. Have you had any luck yet? We are getting ready to cancel our service if we can't get it going. |

I'm getting the same problem here! I restart my device and loose all my settings for my internet connection! the device can not establish a connection with the internet!
