Yep, mine is up again as of 6:26 PM, EDST. Total outage 8+ hours.
I still feel a system status web page only accessible by customers would be a giant leap forward. Of course, it would have to have honest information that is updated at specified intervals.
That would ease the load on their customer service and avoid having someone who speaks English as a second language, having to hem and haw about the problem and when it will be fixed. When you have aggravated customers who call in and are met with extended hold times, the frustration level escalates very quickly. The key however, is honest, fresh information available to only those that need it...

I checked around 545pm CDT calling my home phone with my cell and was finally able to receive incoming calls after about 9 hours. Glad to hear everyone's getting similar results, (I hope).  |

Hello,
We are able to receive most incoming calls, however some of the local calls (made within the same area code) do not come through. We have had at least 3 or 4 people say that they have had a hard time reaching us (one call was from my sons school). Just wondering if this is the same issue others have posted about. We have a 586 area code.
