Hi All,
Just had my number transferred. I have Linksys RT31P2. I have signed up for one number. I want to connect another instrument to the second port and put it in the study. Is this possible? Please note I do not want to sign up for a second number/line, just connect 2 instruments.
Thanks |

No, this won't work. However, you can put a simple splitter on the port that is working and plug a second phone in that way. |

Just get a portable phone with a second telephone with it that does not take a hard wire connection. Go to Circuit City ... they're inexpensive and I've got it hooked up in the condo and it works fine without any additional wiring, etc.
Good luck ... it's a simple solution ... now if I could just get my landline number ported ... |
