I sent in a rebate form in Nov 2005. I have called and called and called the following numbers:
800 347 4017
866 243 4357
No one ever helps me. Most do not even speak English so I hang up and call back. The people who do speak it give me the run around to call the other number. Only to be told to call back the other number that referred me to them. Then some keep saying "calling Staples" but that store has nothing to do with the rebate form. The form is FROM Vonage for a Vonage START UP KIT.
Others tlel me to check https://www.web-rebates.com/vonage/ but there is never any info on me there. Nothing even stating ti was received.

Emails to customercare@vonage.com and rebates@vonage.com only gave me dumb, generic replies with nothing useful. When I finally got a real person to type back, they gave me mumbo jumbo for weeks about nothing.

Now a few weeks back I called and a lady finally took some time looking into her database and said she found nothing and ask for me to RESUBMIT it all! I did on 3/14/06.

Now today, 4/3/06, i am trying to make sure it was received BUT AGAIN, both numbers keep telling me to call the other, check the website (no info there), and to once again call Staples!

This is SAD! Why is there no one who wants to help me? Do they not want to give me the $50 rebate?

I am asking for a direct contact to call about this. Can anyone help me? Thank you.

I am having problems just getting the dang thing to work and have email/called several times. Their customer service is a joke. In 3 days I sent 3 different e-mails, no response. I called tech service twice and got disconnected both times. That doesn't speak well for a telephone service when their own system disconnects. I am using the free month trial and if it doen't work soon I am going to can it .

I just got a postcard from them today saying that the MAC address I sent in was invalid. However, I have Vonage service, and the number I sent in was the number from the bottom of my router, so how can it be invalid?

Smells like a run aorund...

My info does show up on web-rebates.com though... I guess at least I have that going for me.

I just called again and the third lady (the first 2 did not speak any English and I had no idea what they were saying) said I need to call back in 4-6 weeks! What is their issue over there? How come no one from Vonage can at least tell me what is going on. I sent this rebate from in TWICE! They must have some record to at least say "yes, we received it and are processing it."
I even emailed the Daniel Connor person who does those newsletters and I have not heard back from him either. I wonder if he is even real.

He's real alright, but he does not work for Vonage , and probably can't help you.

Well I was having the same issue so I called the BIG MAN himself (Mr. Citron) and explained my concerns in a voicemail and recieved a call back the same day. I was issued a service credit for the rebate amount right on the spot . Good job BIG MAN!

Can you please tell me how to reach that person? I tried calling the main Vonage number but they have no idea who I am asking for. Am I surprised by that?

Believe it or not, all.
I got my $50 check last week. I never had a chance to call the CEO. I do not understand how everyone I spoke to gave me the run around and claimed my rebate was not on file, and then it comes in 2 months late.
I am just glad it is done with.
Thanks go taylor2767 for providing me the CEO's number, which I now hold for future reference.
This was too crazy and such a hassle to get back a rebate.
