For TWO days, I've heard "lines are temporarily busy" when I try to dial out on this SoftPhone. I can receive calls, just not dial. Locally, long distance, nothing.

Thoughts? Help?

Sad

How long have you experieinced this? Have you been able to make calls earlier?

I just installed a softphone today, and it is doing it to only certain numbers for me. Just wondering if it was me, or something with the network

It's been doing this for two days. Yes, I made calls regularly before yesterday. I'd only gotten this busy message a few times before, and I'd wait a few minutes and I could then dial out.

I am getting it when I call cell phones, but not landlines or other Vonage lines.

Happens to me with most, but not all, cells phones here. A couple landlines also, out of the last 20 or so I've called.

What's strange is that both me and a freind of mine have a Verizon cell phone in the same area/area code. I can call his, but get the recording when I call mine.

Strange.

I've got the same problem. Lines are temporarily busy, going on two plus days.

Well, the Vonage software works just fine. Instead of the sj phone. I learned this after being online with the tech support for over an hour.

Yeah, but the XTen phone is weak because it has to be restarted every time the network connections changes. On a laptop that is a couple of times a day as I wander around the world.
