ktrotter - as Nate said, that should work fine, but let me make an observation. Your diagram actually has THREE routers in a row there, as the "Vonage modem" is actually a router too. That's overly and needlessly complex, and may actually be rather difficult to configure to work correctly and efficiently. What you really want is:
WAN --> primary wireless router (WRT54GL) --> wired to Vonage device -------------\ -->wireless to PC
The Linksys WRT54GL is recommended because its used by MANY here, is known to work well, is pretty inexpensive, and there's lots of knowledge here to draw upon, starting with Nate's excellent guides, referenced in his signature. |
