How important is the placement of your phone adapter or router in relation to your wireless router or dect equipment?
I'm a new user of Vonage and at present my adapter sits on a shelf about 1 metre away from my router (wireless enabled) and about 12 inches away from my main DECT base station.
Callers are saying they hear clicks randomally. I do not hear these and call quality seems fine.
I have telewest blueyonder cable modem > linksys wrtg54 > pap2 adapter. The DECT phones are BT Freestyle 2200, although to be honest they weren't perfect when connected to a normal landline. |

I've heard of problems co-locating DECT and 802.11 kit, though I've not myself had problems. That said, my DECT basestation is in another room from the 802.11 AP, which may help.
Certainly when I had a wired phone sat next to the AP I did get lots of interference. Sticking the phone on the other side of the (metal) PC case solved that problem |

I had a problem with "Clicks" on the line - it turned out to be a problem at the Vonage end, which they sorted within a few hours. However they did go through a whole fault checking process on my set up, including changing the phone port used on the adaptor before agreeing that the problem was their end. |

Thanks. I'll try the other phone port then go through the faults procedure if it continues. |
