It looks like there is a severe shortage of Canadian numbers. I wonder if:
1 - the Canadian service is way more popular than expected? 2 - it is difficult for Vonage to get Canadian numbers? 3 - it is just a come on when they really aren't prepared with all the numbers?
Anyone has the inside scoop? When will they get more? Thanks.

Oh, really? In that case, Vonage would not have waived international fees to Canada, never mind expanding there in the first place. Anyway, Canada uses the North American Numbering Plan, so it was the logical first step for international expansion.
refer a friend program does not work with Vonage for canadian friends so canadians might as well go for packet8 service that is cheaper except for international calls to some countries.

However, as Packet8 don't offer numbers outside the US at all, it's less likely to be of benefit to them than Vonage, unless they have contacts in the US.
