PostPosted: Sat Mar 25, 2006 4:11 pm    Post subject: phone calls getting dropped Reply with quote Back to top

so for the last 2-3 days my calls on my Vonage line have been getting randomly dropped. just now i got a call and someone left a voice mail. i went to call the voicemail and about 2 words in, the call was dropped. i dialed up the vm again and the same thing happened.

this has happened to me a few times in the past couple days. and just now someone called my cell phone because they said when they dial the Vonage line it goes right to voice mail.

i am in albany, NY and i have roadrunner (Time Warner Cable). Upload speed is 356K and download is 4.78M

using the WRTP54G wifi Vonage router from linksys

any help would be appreciated.

Dioes anyone know if I can use Vonage to transfer calls from the landline to my cell phone. In other words, if it rings so many times on the home business phone, say 4 times, could it be set up to then send to my mobile?
Thanks

If you just copy everything and then paste it in here, the charts should be ignored and the text displayed.

That looks quite good. You might want to try re-running the test a few times to see if the results are consistent.

I notice that you're using the wireless router/adapter. What kind of phone are you using? A 2.4 GHz cordless will cause interference and create this kind of problem.
