Hello I am traveling to visit my parents in India for 2 wks. My faterh as a broadband connection, and I want to know in advance, how I need to set up my router over there.
I know with my own isp in the US if I am changing my router I have to go to a website on my isp and assign a new device.
I had my father call his isp in Hyderabad India, to ask them how we need to assign the router.
At present my father just plugs the ether net cable from the wall directly into his laptop
Now of course the route would be wall to Vonage router then to PC.
When he called the ISP they were not very helpful thye gave him the following info
DNS Primary IP "202.138.96.2" Secondary IP "202.138.103.100"
i dont know what to do with it, i assume it has to do with getting to the admin functions of the router.
