I recently changed from BT to AOL and now my

If AOL in the UK is anything like AOL in the USA, then the answer is no, you can not use it.
Basically stated, AOL does not keep you login to the internet and requires authentication for each connection.

I did get
vonage
up and running with AOL adsl broadband (silver) with no problems at all. Once I configured my ethernet modem I plugged in my RT31P2 and it worked fine. I wouldn't think the PAP2 worked any differently.
All I can say it keep on trying, maybe give customer care a call and good luck.
