If I sign up for Softphone and set it up for forwarding if not on the network, will that count toward my 500 outgoing minutes? I know it won't if it's to my Vonage line, but what if it's to my cell phone?

Also, if I setup the Softphone for simulring with my cell phone and I pick up my cell instead of answering through Softphone, will that count toward the 500 minutes as well?

Or does it all count toward the unlimited incoming?

Yes it will count against your 500 to your cell phone, not to your Vonage line.

Yes it will count against your 500 if you answer your cell, at that point it is just a fowarded call.

Unlimited incoming doesn't apply to fowarded calls. Think of it this way a call comes into 555-555-5555, then 555-555-5555 places a call to 666-666-6666 (the forward or simulring number) you pick up 666-666-6666 it now an out going call from 555-555-5555 to 666-666-6666. So unless 666-666-6666 is also a Vonage number it counts against your outgoing 500 min. limit.

Alright, as I understand it if I forward my softphone to a vonage number their is no charge. If I then have my main vonage number on simuring it still would be no charge, correct.

That is assuming your main vonage number is unlimited Very Happy

Of Course, if your main number is the unlimited plan it doesn't matter. If it's not unlimited and you answer a number other than a Vonage line it would count towards your minuets.
