Post subject: Wannabe question
Hi everybody, my first post as a
Vonage
wannabe. I'm trying to understand some of the finer points before taking the plunge and possibly going in the wrong direction....
First Question: What's the real deal or difference between the Residential and Small Business deals?
As far as I understand, if I want two lines I have two choices:
- 2 * Residential @ £7.99 each = £15.98
- 1 * Small Business @ £18.99
With Residential I get unlimited UK calls, while with Small Business I get a second (fax) line with 500 minutes of calls. So what do I get for the extra expense on the Small Business deal - assuming I can actually make voice calls on the fax line?
Second Question: I have a supplier who is a non-Vonage
Voip
user who wants me to have an extension of his telephone system, so that when a particular class of customer calls them, they say "just transferring you to our local rep". I need to know that the incoming call is from my supplier, either to my second
Vonage
line or to a seperate telephone. What do I need to do to acheive this?
Thanks in advance for any advice.
