I use the WRT54G Wireless Router and the RT31P2 Router. Insight Cable is my Internet provider. Everytime I use the phone, it drops my internet connection. Would anyone know how to correct this problem?

Is it a 2.4ghz cordless phone that you are using? These can interfere with 802.11b/g wireless connections as they all use the same range of frequencies.
If this is the case you may be able to reduce the interference by using a different channel on the phone or the wireless router. |

UK1992, I had the same exact problem as you, and as mharvey has suggested, it was my 2.4 Ghz phone that was causing the problem. I switched to a 5.8 Ghz phone and that solved my problems. |

UK, for what it's worth, Insight is also my internet provider and I use the internet often while the vonage phone is in use without problems. I have 5.8 Ghz phones. |
