I am trying to facilitate the transfer of my # to Vonage. Bellsouth replied to my request with the below. Does anyone know what Voanage's PIC is?

Vonage does not have a PIC code per se as they are not a telephone company.
PIC code requests are typically used for 1+ carrier selection for your long distance operator.
If you are 'porting' FROM BellSouth TO Vonage, there is no PIC code required and further BellSouth shouldn't be asking you anything.
What exactly are you trying to do and what steps have you taken so far? |

That's not what BellSouth is trying to do at the moment. It sounds like they're under the impression you're keeping BellSouth and just want to switch your toll service from MCI to Vonage (which can't be done, so far as I know).
I think you're going to have to explain to BellSouth again what you want to do -- that you're dropping BellSouth entirely and you want to transfer your number to your new phone service. |
