Newbie here, any help appreciated.
I will be in a summer home with an internet connection. Can I bring my phone with me in the summer and use the same phone number? If I need to get a second phone, can I use the same number? Not sure what the limits or capabilities of Voip provide me in this case.
Thanks! |

If you have a reliable connection at the summer home, you can pick up your gear from your primary residence, and move it to the summer home. It'll work just as it did before, same number. |

As Dave said, you can take your equipment with you and use it wherever you go. |

But if you did have two adapters it seems that you could always forward one to the other and thereby use a single number for both adapters. |

Yes, but you'd be paying for two numbers. |

I regularly carry my Vonage adapter with me back & forth to my vacation home & primary residence. No problems that I've encountered. Just make sure that if you decide to connect up the Vonage adapter to your household wiring that the telco wires are disconnected, otherwise you stand a good chance of toasting the Vonage adapter. |
